Andreessen Horowitz has secured an impressive new funding round of $15 billion. Notably, $1.7 billion of this capital will be allocated to its infrastructure team, tasked with managing some of the firm’s most significant AI investments, including Black Forrest Labs, Cursor, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Ideogram, and Fal, among others.
Jennifer Li, a general partner at A16z and head of the infrastructure team, oversees key investments such as ElevenLabs, recently valued at $11 billion, along with Ideogram and Fal. She has a well-defined strategy regarding how the team intends to deploy its recent funding.
